Following on from the popularity of our Military-inspired Submariner, and established from the admiration of vintage Explorer models, particularly the ref. 1016, the Wildman Explorer Heritage Edition pairs vintage aesthetics with modern watchmaking.
Retaining the rigid and capable case of the modern ref. 214270, the watch is transformed through both the dial and the strap.
Unique
Make this edition truly unique through the addition of a personalised case back engraving or on the dial itself. Your initials, a commission date or even a small message or graphic are just a few ideas of what can be included on both the front or the rear of the watch. Our design team are on hand to visualise these for you and help you bring your ideas to reality.
The Dial & Hands
Stripped down to their original form and re-built by our dial artisans, our customised Explorer has all the qualities of the “perfect” example of reference 1016. An aged luminous has been applied directly onto the dial, as well as being matched within the hands inner section for a beautiful vintage aesthetic. With period correct text, font and dial texture, the overall combination of all of these changes make for a very appealing entity.
The Bracelet
Available with a range of different strap options, the Explorer Heritage Edition is delivered alongside or on its original stainless steel bracelet, and comes with two leather straps - both paired with stainless steel Rolex pin buckles. There are a wide variety of colours and finishes for the leather strap, which are available to view upon enquiring.
